Leo Kirchs saga gained a lot of suspense in the past months: Gloomy outlook for him, he dishonors contracts, Rupert Murdoch is on standby, Gerhard Schroeder doesn't want Murdoch to create an anti-european, and certainly no anti Schroeder sentiment in Germany, the conservative chancellor candidate Stoiber is involved in a vague 2.2 billion � loan, Springer's CEO, Mathias Döpfner, finally is able to impress granny Springer a little bit, some bankers can enjoy the feeling that they're playing with the big boys...
